Zac Glander, 2028, SS/RHP, Noblesville: I got a quality two-way look at Glander during a scrimmage against Westfield. He stands at 5-foot-11, 165 pounds with plenty of room to add strength. He doubled to right field in one of his first at-bats; the swing works loose on a level plane with present feel for the barrel. Defensively, he looked the part at shortstop with on-time actions, soft hands, and solid body control. Glander also took the mound late in the scrimmage, working 83–84 mph and reaching back for 86 once. He mixed in a 68–70 mph two-plane breaking ball and an upper-70s changeup, showing the ability to throw all three for strikes. The arm works clean, and he showed solid feel for his arsenal in a positive look on the mound.

Making quality strides in his development along with maturing at a noticeable rate, Glander showed well in all-facets. Now 5-foot-11 and 165-pounds, Glander threw a polished 'pen where he sat 84-85 with two quality secondaries, including a 2500+ slider, and showed immense feel for all three pitches. On the offensive side, he turned in a 7.1 60 to start the day, and showed a familiar, athletic-paced, level, right-handed swing with exits up to 93 mph. To conclude, he took a proper-looking round on the infield, securing the ball with soft hands, showing a playable transfer, and getting into an 86 mph across quickly. The skill here stands out and continues to elevate with maturity.
2/22/25

Zac Glander is a 2028 SS/RHP from Noblesville (IN) with a lean 5-foot-9, 145-pound frame and plenty of projection. At the plate, the right-handed hitter starts in a slightly crouched stance, using a small takeaway load that matches a forward move, though he can drift at times. The swing is loose and level with a clean path and advanced hand-eye, and strength gains will pay dividends. Defensively, Glander is a smooth, athletic mover with on-time feet, body control, and soft hands, showing a playable transfer and polish for his age. His arm is his best tool, working from a clean swing with life and carry at 80 mph, and while he didn’t pitch at this event, there's reason to believe he could trend toward two-way potential.
