7/5/17 - Zenger is a strong and athletic 6-foot-2 170-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 7.29 60 and has an 82 mph exit velo. At the plate, tall and open stance, smooth and controlled load, no wasted movement, loose hands, aggressive bat speed, balanced throughout swing, level path though the zone, solid consistent line drives gap-to-gap mostly to pull side gap, repeats swing.  On the infield, 80 mph positional velo, athletic actions, high three quarters release, quick feet to the ball creating momentum to throw, feet and hands on time with transfer, plays through he ball, quick release. On the mound, Zenger is strong and athletic, controlled delivery, loose over the top arm speed, throws three pitches for strikes, in line stride, fastball at 82-83 mph, late 11-to-5 action on breaking ball, consistently 73 mph, change up has arm side release, throws with fastball arm speed, 69-71 mph, impressive bullpen. 

7/12/16 - Zenger is a 6-foot 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, shortstop and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 7.65 60 and a 4.56 home-to-first.  He has an 84 mph exit velo, one of the top on the day. At the plate, open stance, controlled leg kick, accelerated swing, level though the zone, stays on ball after contact, consistent line drives to the middle of the field.  In the outfield, short high three quarters arm slot, fluid footwork to the ball, creates momentum through the catch, clean transfer, mostly accurate throws, 81 mph positional velo. On the infield, 78 mph positional velo, athletic action, fields ball in athletic position, loose arm action with high three quarters slot, quick footwork to the ball, in sync with transfer and throw, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Zenger has a high-three quarters arm slot, in line stride, creates direction towards the plate, loose arm action, fastball at 76-79 mph, curveball has 11-to-5 shape, 68-71 mph, change up at 64-68 mph, slight sink, smooth tempo in delivery, throws with regular effort.

5/31/16 - Zenger is a 6-foot-1 160-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 7.51 60 and a 4.76 home-to-first. He has an exit velo of 80 mph. At the plate, thin set up, in line stride, used whole field during batting practice, consistent line drives, loose hands with short path to contact, quick bat speed, repeats, singled in game action.  On the infield, 78 mph positional velo, one of the top infield velos for the event, athletic actions, quick catch and throw, loose arm action, high three quarters release, fluid footwork, accurate throws, long limbed and projectable frame

5/7/15 - Zenger is a very thin, athletic 6-foot, 140-pound right-hand hitting class of 2018 middle infielder. Starting second baseman for Rock Creek HS in Westmoreland, KS as a freshman. Light feet and athletic actions at second base. Quick exchanges. Loose and easy arm action, arm works. Very sure-handed in game action. Likely to move to shortstop when senior SS Shilo Schaake graduates. Tall set-up at the plate, smooth load, long stride, line-drive approach, slight pull. Hitting .400 with .509 on-base percentage and six stolen bases this spring. Athletic runner with long, easy strides, 4.44 home-to-first.
