Chandler Miller: OF/RHP, (2021) Basehor-Linwood, KS. 6-foot-2, 165-pound slim frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 87 mph. Begins in a tall stance with a big load, then uses a long stride. Bat speed is quick, uses upward swing plane and level finish. Through the round he found some barrels. Line drive approach. Raw his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 87 mph; had a lengthy exchange, sure hands and developing footwork. Used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.0. On the mound, produced a fastball that came in at 81-84 mph. Curveball (64-65 mph), changeup (68-70 mph).

Body: 6-foot-2, 165-pounds. Lanky, wiry, highly projectable build.
Defense: Athletic in the field, fluid footwork, strong breakdown, athletic crow hop, feel for himself defensively.

Delivery: Works exclusively out of the stretch, tall/fall type delivery, slight hitch at balance point, creates extension downhill, level shoulders, throws in line with his target, athletic finish through release.
Arm Action: RH. Long, loose arm action, high 3/4 slot. Quick, lively arm.
FB: T86, 80-84 mph. Showed some arm-side run, lively action; jumps into the zone.
CB: 67-71 mph. 11/5 shape, late break, feel to spin.
CH: 72-73 mph. Showed slight sinking action.
Miller is a lean and long limbed 6-foot-2, 165-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2021 class. He ran a 7.08 second 60 and 4.66 home-to-first. At the plate, posted and exit velocity of 91 mph, starts narrow and in an upright posture, weight shift into his load, long and inline stride, aggressive with back hip, loose hands, big swing that produced hard contact to the middle of the field during batting practice. In the outfield, smooth actions, long and fluid arm action, clean transfers, positional velo of 84 mph, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Miller shows a repeatable delivery with good direction, some deception, controlled leg lift, long and loose arm action, high three-quarter release. Fastball sits 78-84 mph, occasional arm side run, around the zone, changeup is 70-72 mph, curveball is 65-68 mph, sharp bite at times, 11-to-5 shape, near fastball arm speed.
