Hit: RHH. Upright, balanced stance with quiet pre-pitch actions. Controlled hand load back and down with a small leg lift and stride. Uphill swing plane. Generates some barrel whip through the zone. Works the middle/pull side in BP with fly balls and line-drives. 64.8 mph bat speed with 8 G's of rotational acceleration.

RHP/INF Jacob Doty (Maize, 2025; KS) showed upside on both sides of the ball in this event. On the mound Doty has a quick, clean arm action and a fastball that plays at 78-83 mph with more to come given the physical projection in his 5-foot-11, 150-pound frame. With that, Doty also mixed in a changeup and a sharp curveball (-12.5” VB avg.) at 64-67 mph with 2300+ RPM. At the plate Doty also showed a quick, rotational swing with glimpses of pull-side power to go alongside 82 mph across the infield which was one of the top numbers from the event.

Body: 5-10, 150-pounds. Slim frame with plenty of room to fill out.
Delivery: Controlled tempo delivery with a tall point of balance. Lands slightly closed and mostly works in line down the bump.
Arm Action: RH. Stabs out the glove, long and loose arm action from a near over-the-top window.
FB: T80, 78-80 mph. Plays mostly straight with riding action when thrown up in the zone. T2188, 2070 average rpm.
CB: 65-67 mph. 11/5 shape with gradual movement, slightly slows arm speed. T2250, 2189 average rpm.
CH: 76-77 mph. Plays mostly straight with minimal spin. T1711, 1648 average rpm.

Defense: Reliable hands, glove plays deep in the center of the body, long transfer.
