One of the youngest players in attendance, C/RHP Miles Nichols (Mill Valley, 2028) delivered an impressive all-around performance. The freshman showcased advanced catch-and-throw skills behind the plate, posting pop times of 1.98-2.09 with a 72 mph arm, while also reaching 86 mph from the outfield. His 6-foot, 165-pound frame offers plenty of room for added strength and size, displaying a strong feel for the barrel from a level left-handed swing throughout his BP round. On the mound, Nichols showed intriguing upside, running his fastball up to 80 mph while mixing in a developing curveball and slider.
