C Connor Witt (Shawnee Mission West, 2027) is another name that popped to our staff from the ‘27 class. A switch-hitting backstop, Witt showed a compact, repeatable swing from both sides of the plate. He sprayed line drives to all fields throughout his rounds, displaying a swing that will play in game against high end velo and reaching a peak exit velocity of 87.9 mph (80.5 mph avg.). From behind the plate, the sophomore produced 2.01-2.04 pop times with a 71 mph catcher velocity and 79 mph infield velocity to pair.
