Hit: Starts in a slightly open, balanced, and athletic stance. Uses a modified leg kick to get back to center. Flashed some increased physicality in the swing during BP. Got on plane early and stayed through the ball a long time with uphill extension and natural lift.
Power: Max exit velocity of 91 mph.
Arm: Short and quick arm action with a high ¾ arm slot. OF velocity of 76 mph.
Defense: Good first step in the OF. Glides around in the OF. Body is in sync moving through the baseball.
Run: Posted a 6.83 in the 60. Above average runner.
Cardell Thibodeaux Jr.: OF, (2022) Acadiana, LA. Athletic frame. At the plate, the hitter recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. Began in an open stance with a small load, then used a leg kick right before his swing. Shows explosive bat speed and a level swing plane. Pull side approach. In the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 75 mph; had a clean exchange, athletic footwork and consistent hands. he fielded the ball out front and showed athletic movement laterally.
