RHP Danny Lindsey (Vianney, 2023) cruised through his two innings of work to start things off for Team Missouri, punching out five batters in total. The 6-foot, 195-pound right-hander worked east-to-west with his fastball, consistently throwing it for strikes, while occasionally flipping in a tighter 66-67 mph breaking ball with depth.
Danny Lindsey: RHP/SS, (2023) Vianney, MO. 5-foot-11, 165-pound lean frame. During batting practice, Lindsey recorded an exit velocity of 77 mph. Starts in a crouched stance with a small load, then uses a toe tap just before his swing. Has average bat speed and flat swing plane. Barreled up some balls throughout the round. Opposite field approach. His best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 78 mph; showed quick feet, sure hands and a clean exchange. Had an-over-the-top slot with a long arm action. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.64. On the mound, showing some arm speed he used an over-the-top arm angle with a short arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Showed athletic balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 74-75 mph with a max of 77 mph; shows consistent control with his fastball. His curveball (64-66) had command low in the zone and tight action.

FB: T77, 72-77 mph. Four-seam type, plays straight, more velocity to come as he matures.
CB: 66-67 mph. 11/5 shape, works on a vertical plane, slightly decelerated arm action.
