Hit: RHH. Tall open setup with a narrow base, weight starting on the back side, and some bat wiggle. Uses a short leg lift trigger working back to even as he shifts hands back. Short flat path through the zone, mostly barrels, power present. 76.7 mph bat speed with 15 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 103 max exit velocity, averaged 92.7 mph. 369' max distance.

INF Gabe Garcia (Timberland, 2027) continues to show well in front of our staff, building on a strong winter with another impressive performance earlier this summer in Columbia. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound infielder displayed advanced strength from the right side, staying on top of the baseball and using the whole field with comfort during BP. He flashed above-average pull-side juice for his age, peaking at 102.7 mph in exit velocity. Defensively, Garcia stood out with one of the top infield arms of the event, reaching 86 mph across the diamond.

Hit: RHH. Tall even setup with a narrow base, weight centered, and active hands. Uses a short leg lift trigger gaining ground forward. Short slightly downhill path through the zone, some barrels, present power. 73.9 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 98 max exit velocity, averaged 83.1 mph. 303' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-86 mph.
Defense: Confident calculated actions defensively.

INF/C Gabe Garcia (Timberland, 2027) was consistently on the barrel throughout his round of BP in Friday’s look, posting the top exit velocity of the day with a 96.7 mph mark. The physical, 6-foot, 220-pound sophomore swung with intent throughout his round, using a quick, level swing to line balls to all fields, averaging 86.7 mph per batted ball. Garcia should see more to come as he adds polish to his game.

Hit: RHH. Open setup with hands set high. Knee-knock and full body load into a medium stride. Flat bat path. Hands work out and around through the zone. Lifts ball through contact. Showed some pull-side power. 68.1 mph bat speed with 11 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 85.9 mph. 337' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-72 mph. INF-75 mph. Short OT arm action.
Defense: 2.28-2.36 pop times. Behind the plate, displays receiving ability with developing footwork and glove. In the INF, two-hand gather out front. Stays low to field, developing release.
ATH: 8.01 runner in the 60. 1.84 in the 10 yard split. 22.40 max vertical.
