Hit: RHH. Upright slightly open setup with a wide base, weight slightly shifted to the back side, and some bat movement pre pitch. Uses a short hovering leg lift trigger gaining ground forward and working back to even. Compact flat path through the zone, mostly barrels, power present. 69.7 mph bat speed with 16 G's of rotational acceleration.

C Kendall Hagedorn (Smith-Cotton, 2026) owns one of the purest hit tools in the class and did nothing but backspin line drives back up the middle of the field in both of his rounds of BP. Hagedorn has fast, strong hands that control the barrel well, keeping it flat with length through the zone. He peaked at 95.6 mph, averaging 87.7 mph per batted ball, and his deepest ball traveled 338 feet, per TrackMan. Hagedorn’s catch-and-throw skills were on complete display in his workout, popping in the 1.89-to-1.97 range while topping at 77 mph.

Hit: RHH. Quiet, slightly open stance. Starts upright, slight bent knees, keeps weight on back leg. Small leg lift with long stride, long extension. Keeps hands close behind head, elbows flared before the swing. Level swing path, mature approach with great feel for the barrel. Good hand speed, hip rotation creates exceptional bat speed. 76.5 mph bat speed with 17 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 87.7 mph. 338' max distance. 100.6 max EV, 91.2 avg EV on the day. Both among the best of the day.

The top ranked catcher in Missouri’s 2026 class, Kendall Hagedorn (Smith-Cotton) is a high-follow, name-to-know athlete. Hagedorn swings with aggression and intent at the plate posting a top exit velocity of 100.6 mph, while averaging 94.5 mpg; sending his furthest ball 332 feet. The bat speed, balance, and ease of power he’s able to generate at the plate are noteworthy. His strong 6-foot, 180-pound frame played well behind the plate, generating 1.88-1.95 pop times and a top velocity of 80 mph. Additionally, the sophomore ran a 3.81 30.
Another name that really impressed on Sunday was C/INF Kendall Hagedorn (Smith-Cotton, 2026). Despite being one of the youngest prospects in attendance, Hagedorn repeatedly got off some of the day’s hardest hacks, staying exclusively up the middle throughout. He swings a quick and loose right-handed barrel, generating acceleration out of his load relatively easily. Hagedorn certainly emerged from this event as a name-to-know in Missouri’s 2026 class.

Strong hands with bat speed (73.7 mph avg.), level bat path, bat head stays in the zone, hard off the barrel. Produced above-average exit velocities both at peak and average for age.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 83.7 MPH. 323' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-70 mph. Short arm draw, 3/4 slot.
Defense: 2.10-2.15 pop times. Quiet wrists, hands work down-to-up when receiving. Square blocker, hips interchange on time, chests up the baseball. Narrow start from the crouch, stays low to the ground and pulls away from target on occasion.
