Clemson commit. Athletic and strong at 6 foot 2, 205-pounds. Changeup and pull pop from the left side stand out. Smooth delivery on the mound. Hand works in sync with a compact leg lift. In line to the plate with a square landing. Quick arm from an over the top slot. Some effort in the arm action tat could lead to deception. Fastball has down angle with life at 86-89 mph. Advanced changeup, coming out of the same slot as the fastball. Fade and sink are present. Good hand speed will create swing and miss opportunities. Changeup has sink at 73-76 mph. Curveball has late 12/6 break at 68-69 mph. Can pitch in the zone with all three pitches.
Tall, slightly open setup in the box. Smooth load, using a small leg kick. Fast bat through the zone with barrel snap. Drives the ball with strength to his pull side. Exit velocity recorded at 94 mph. Plays through balls with rhythm in the outfield. Soft hands with fluid feet. Arm strength, using an over the top slot. Accurate arm that topped at 94 mph. Recorded a 3.89 in the 30-yard dash.
Strong build with developed lower half. Loose hips that drive the body down the line. Lefty works with a short arm action that bottoms out prior to a small elbow lead to the top of the arm arc. Quick hand. Fastball worked up to 86, sitting 82-84. Curveball as some inconsistency but flashes depth at higher velocities, with possible out pitch potential, ranging 68-73. Change touched 70 and showed an ability to fade.
