Smooth delivery, aggression and intent down the mound. Gets over a strong frontside. Creates hip/shoulder separation. Advanced feel for three pitches. FB located all over the zone at 83-84 MPH. SL showed late bite with S/M ability at 73-75 MPH. Displayed a CH as well, fade at the bottom of the zone at 77-78 MPH.
Gable possesses a real compact and athletic frame at 5-foot-9, 160-pounds. ERan the 60 yard dash in 7.19 seconds, top exit velocity of 86 MPH. At the plate, starts taller with his feet slightly open. Hands by his back shoulder, slight movement downwards in his load. Elbow stays parallel to the ground. Gradual leg kick, stays on time. Compact swing, plenty of line drives throughout. In the outfield, aggressive actions to the ball, creates momentum towards his target. Top velo of 78 MPH on throws. On the bump, Gable pitched exclusively from the stretch, setting up slightly closed on the third base side of the rubber. Works quick with tempo. Hands locked in position until he reaches his balance point. Even shoulder tilt. Advanced poise on the bump. Loose arm, high 3/4 slot. FB with some later life at 81-82 MPH.
