Lean, wiry athletic frame at 6-foot-3 165-pounds with rooom to fill out. One of the top overall performers at the event. Ran a 7.02 60 yard dash, exit velo topped at 95 mph off the bat via Trackman. At the plate, slightly opened at start, relaxed and tall. Uses small foot stride and fluid load that brings hands straight back. Explosive, elastic torso and hips bring barrel through the zone with some authority. Tall finish. Ball jumped off the barrel. One of the top batting practice rounds of the day. Defensively, took reps from the outfield. Throws topped at 85 mph with carry. Long, easy arm action. Fields out front, carries momentum through target. One the mound, fastball had heavy life at 86-88 mph (1659 avg rpm) from a high slot. Mixed in a curveball that had more slider-like properties at 74-78 (-13 HM, -4.9 IVB). Good tempo, pounded lower half of the strike zone. One of the top overall 2025 grads in New Jersey.
Harsch has a long and projectable frame at 6-foot-3, 165-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.12 seconds while recording a top exit velo of 89 MPH. Offensively, starts completely upright with his feet even. Hanging leg kick brings him into a wider and more athletic spot. Hands start lower and move directly backwards in his load. Gets on plane early with uphill tilt in the swing. Easy gap-to-gap with true power potential. In the outfield, showed a controlled approach to the ball, ensures he fields it cleanly before making throws. Top positional velocity of 85 MPH. On the mound, Harsch was one of the top arms of the day. Clean and fluid delivery, arm really works well. Uphill shoulder tilt, softer front side. Lands slightly closed at foot strike. Long and loose arm action, plenty more in the tank. FB exploded through the zone, was consistently 85-86 MPH. CB with advanced shape and swing and miss potential at 74-76 MPH. CH with intent showed some run and was thrown at 77-78 MPH.
