Kosuda is strong and broad-shouldered athlete, standing at 6-foot, 200-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.19 seconds, top exit velocity recorded at 94 MPH. Strong presence in the batters box. Starts tall and even. Strong lower half, hips clear through the zone. Simple stride, stays on time. Easy gap-to-gap pop with true pullside power potential. Swings with controlled aggression. In the infield, Kosuda worked around the ball with rhythm. Efficient arm action, ability to change slots. 87 MPH arm strength.
Strong, broad-shouldered build at 5-foot-11, 185-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.35 seconds with a top exit velo of 91 MPH. Tall and balanced stance. Hands start high and back behind his head, stay locked there throughout. Average stride. Drops the back shoulder, gets his bat on plane. Hands fly through the zone. Showed off some gap-to-gap pop. Defensively, recorded a defensive velo of 81 MPH in the IF. Smooth glovework. Works well laterally to the ball. Stays athletic through throws. Strong arm, stayed on target.
5-foot-11, 185lb durable, strong frame; 7.26 runner in the 60 yard dash. Posted an 89 MPH max exit velo at the plate and also worked out in the infield and posted an 85 MPH arm strength from across the infield.
On the mound, Kosuda works with repeatable mechanics down the slope with the lower half strength very present. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with some looseness present in the actions. Throws the fastball at 78-80 T81 MPH with good command on the arm side corner of the plate and good downhill presence upon release. Mixes in a tall curveball that falls into the zone at 66-69 MPH, could be a good early count pitch. Flashed a solid changeup at 70-74 MPH that he displays good feel for to both sides of the plate.
