Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a downward swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 93 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while covering ground laterally. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 70 MPH.
Physical: 5-foot-10, 155 pounds; Long, lean build. 7.21 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; upright bat position. Lifts hands with an up and down stride for timing. Drifts into contact while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 85 MPH via Trackman. Registered plus blast metrics all around. Bat to watch as he develops and fills out.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep step while showing active feet. Hands are soft while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high/over the top arm slot. INF - 71 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride while landing closed. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; high/over the top slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 76 MPH, while sitting 71-74 MPH; straight action. CB: 57-60 MPH; 10-4 shape.
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 148lb frame. 7.56 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even stance just inside shoulder-width as the hands operated on the shoulder. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate a whippy barrel through a flat path into the hitting zone. High finish, recording a T87 mph bat-exit velocity towards a pull-side approach during his round. Taller posture, liked to find leverage at the front of the plate.
Defensively: Rangy defender in the middle of the infield, as the feet worked up-tempo to his left. Fielded cleanly on the left side of his body, holding momentum to the target for a 74 mph arm-strength across the diamond (accurate).
Pitching: RHP - Finds a balance point in the stack from a unique delivery. Really reaches down to the mitt with a longer arm out in front (H ¾ slot). The FB landed 70-72 mph, strikes, and dropped in a sweeping upper-50’s SL to complement.
