Connor comes at you with his long, loose and rangy frame. His mid 80's fastball gets on hitters in a hurry as his effort is almost too easy. Pounds the strike zone and showed the ability to use all three pitches. Change up appeared firm at times but yet effective and breaking ball had some 2-8 action. In his second inning he started to miss up as he can cut his finish off on occasion. Shortly after, signed with University at Albany.
Fall Prospect Games (October 11 & 12, 2015)
Morrisroe comes at you from an athletic, 6-foot-4, 180-pounds frame with thick shoulders and extra-long fingers. Loose-easy arm action from a high-3/4 slot. Fastball sits an easy 84-85 mph, tops 86 with late action. Changeup is advanced with fastball hand-speed and arm-side fade. Very advanced feel for the strike zone.
