Physical: 6-foot-0, 135 pounds; Average, slender build. 7.52 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Lifts hands with an up and down stride for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a direct swing path with a late one hand finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 82 MPH via Trackman. Has an extremely direct swing path which led to consistent barrels. Flashed some pull side pop with the ability to lift the ball.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; walks into ready position while showing choppy feet. Hands are off to the side with a delay in transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 72 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; high 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 71 MPH, while sitting 68-71 MPH; arm side run. CB: MPH; 11-5 shape. Has a very repeatable delivery which led to filling up the strike zone. Showed the ability to spot the fastball on both sides of the plate.
Physical: Projectable, long 5-foot-10, 145lb frame. 7.59 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, balanced stance starting just above the head. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat path towards a high one-handed finish. Lagged the barrel properly with some accuracy into the zone, allowing for a 60% line drive rate during his round (via Trackman). Peppered the middle/pull-side of the field for singles power and matched pitch plane early out of the hand. Posted a T77 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak with more coming as he adds strength.
Defensively: The middle infielder chopped the feet at the outset of the route, setting up on-time at a wider base while bending at the waist. Fielded cleanly out in front and got the hips/shoulders in-line before releasing from a lengthy H ¾ slot (69 mph arm).
Pitching: RHP - Set up off the middle of the rubber from the stretch-only. Got to a medium stack position with slight hip coil, working down the slope towards a falling finish at H ¾ slot. The FB ranged from 65-66, T68 mph with low spin traits, mixing a short, lateral 50-51 mph CB. Turned to a developing 51-53 mph CH with small fade.
