Began in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed is efficient, displays a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 84 mph; had sure hands, quick footwork, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.94 60-yard dash. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle and a compact arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2244; Avg 2111). Shows gradual action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 1840; Avg 1779).
