Braeden Jones: SS/RHP, (2021) Mustang, OK. 6-foot-2, 190-pound slim frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. Began in an athletic stance with a small load, then used a short stride to initiate his swing. Bat speed was above average, showed flat swing plane and level finish. Barreled up some balls during the round. Line drive approach. Above average while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 77 mph; shows a clean exchange, soft hands and smooth feet. Used a short arm action and a ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.25 in the 60-yard dash. Average on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a short arm action while showing some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Tall balance point with even shoulders. Lands open with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 79-79 mph; has running action and arm side command. His curveball had gradual action and in the zone control. He has a straight changeup (74-75).
