On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a slight pause during the rocker step before a high coiling leg kick and long stride down the mound, finishing hard to the first base side. Arm action is very short and fast with a quick change of direction at the bottom of the arm stroke before coming through a near over the top slot with advanced arm speed and a recoil finish. Fastball shows downhill tilt with some deception at 83-85 mph, some strikes. Curveball has 10/4 shape with tight spin thrown with full arm speed, flashing some late depth at 72-74 mph, some strikes. In the game punched out two and allowed two infield hits in the seven batters he faced.
