Chase Corbin: OF/3B, (2021) Silo, OK. 6-foot, 170-pound slim frame. During batting practice, the switch hitter had an exit velocity of 89 mph, showing his ability to drive the ball with power. Began in a balanced stance with a small load, then used a small leg kick just before his swing. Had flat swing plane, quick bat speed and level finish. He barreled up multiple balls. Line drive approach. Average while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 81 mph; has choppy feet, sure hands and a lengthy exchange. Fluid from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 80 mph; had athletic footwork, a clean exchange and sure hands. Showed consistent accuracy to the bases. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.07. Fluid on the mound, used a short arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. Uses some effort in his delivery. Showed consistent balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 80-82 mph with a max of 82 mph; shows in the zone control with straight movement. His slider shows late action and glove side command. His changeup (69-70) shows fading action.
A lean 5-foot-11, 158-pound frame with plenty of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery a high leg kick before finishing to the dish. Arm action is long and controlled in the back before coming through an over the top slot. Fastball shows consistent arm-side run at 76-78 mph, mostly strikes.
