Defensively, correct angles, quick to the ball, good hands and feet, high-3/4 slot, 78 mph to first base. In-game, Morton was 1/3 with two walks and single up the middle.

A lean 5-foot-11, 155-pound frame with some wiry strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open, upright, and relaxed set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a rocking load with a short stride and late heel plant for timing, bat path has some length, flat through extension. In BP, shows a middle of the field approach with line drives and ground balls, some bat speed, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.5 60. Defensively, in the outfield, shows clean and confident actions, gets rid of the ball quickly, uses a full arm circle, coming through an over the top slot, 78 mph with some carry. Athletic enough to be serviceable on the infield as well.

Defensively, shows clean and smooth actions coming through the ball, throws with a fluid arm action coming through an over the top slot with arm speed and accuracy at 87 mph.
