Narrow stance, rocking , smooth load, slight arm bar, quick hands, rotational swing, flat through contact, 81 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.5 60. Defensively, correct angles, quick to the ball, good hands and feet, high-3/4 slot, 78 mph to first base. In-game, Morton was 1/3 with two walks and single up the middle.

A lean 5-foot-11, 155-pound frame with some wiry strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open, upright, and relaxed set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a rocking load with a short stride and late heel plant for timing, bat path has some length, flat through extension. In BP, shows a middle of the field approach with line drives and ground balls, some bat speed, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.5 60. Defensively, in the outfield, shows clean and confident actions, gets rid of the ball quickly, uses a full arm circle, coming through an over the top slot, 78 mph with some carry. Athletic enough to be serviceable on the infield as well.

Uses a smooth load with a small stride before launching his hands on a flat path through extension with bat speed and some length. In BP, shows and all fields and flat approach, mostly barrels, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.25 60. Defensively, shows clean and smooth actions coming through the ball, throws with a fluid arm action coming through an over the top slot with arm speed and accuracy at 87 mph.
