The Kansas commit displayed an advanced physical 6-foot-4, 230-pound frame with noticeable strength. The left-handed hitter begins in a tall, even stance utilizing a leg-kick to initiate a fluid swing through a slightly uphill barrel path. Advanced barrel whip and a strong lower half created easy lift to the deep pull-side gap while hitting into a stiff front side. Showcased an easy, consistent stroke allowing for his hands to work through the ball with regularity. Registered a loud 93 mph bat-exit velocity off the tee. The primary first baseman demonstrated adequate feel around the bag with a soft glove hand. A lower center of gravity will create increased range to both sides. Notched accurate 80 mph throws across the diamond out of a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot.
Kansas commit. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound first baseman displayed an advanced physical frame with the looks of a college football player. The left-handed hitter starts from a tall, open stance with weight shaded towards the backside. Hands wiggle high at the shoulder in a slight, circular motion for rhythm before utilizing a leg-hang to initiate his swing. Hits to a stiff-front side with weight shift while entering the zone with an uphill attack angle. Generated easy backspin and carry making loud contact with regularity. Registered an impressive 95 mph bat-exit velocity. Recorded a solid 7.25 60-yard dash showing athleticism in his frame. Demonstrated smooth actions around the bag at first with feet that arrived to the ball with consistent rhythm. A soft glove-hand was able to give and take depending on the hop, setting up accurate 77 mph throws across the infield.

A 6-foot-2, 210-pound advanced frame. Offensively, a left-handed hitter, middle-pull approach, shows pop, advanced for his age. Hits from a back leg heavy, upright stance, slight arm-bar load, good shoulder-hip separation, uphill path through finish. Found consistent barrel, the exit velo was 80 mph off the tee, but the ball jumped off the bat in BP.

A physically advanced 6-foot-2, 210-pound frame with strength throughout. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a back leg heavy set-up with a slight preset bend in his back leg and quiet rhythm in his hands. Uses a smooth load with some arm bar, moderate stride, shows some bat speed and strength throughout, sweeping smooth path, slightly uphill. In BP, shows a mostly opposite field approach with lift and easy pop, 87 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.88 60. Defensively, at first base, deliberate and clean actions around the bag with some fluidity, and above average hands. Throws from a 3/4 slot with accuracy, 70 mph. In the game, went 2-for-2 with two well stuck singles. On the mound, the left-hander uses an average tempo delivery with a high-3/4 slot. Fastball ranges from 74-77 mph and showed heavy and late run and sink consistently around the zone. Breaking balls show loose spin, 63-64 mph, 12/6 shape. Threw a quick, scoreless inning in the game, getting two ground balls on the fastball and a punch out looking on the curveball.

A physically advanced 6-foot-3, 215-pound frame with strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from an open, knock-kneed, and slightly back leg heavy set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses smooth load with an arm-bar and moderate stride before launching his hands on an uphill path with some length and strength. In BP, shows a pull approach with advanced pop, lift, and plenty of bat speed, mostly barrels, 87 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.71 60. Defensively, is light on his feet, makes plays cleanly and consistently, arm action is short and loose with excellent accuracy to second base at 76 mph.

A durable 6-foot-3, 215-pound frame with strength.Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a open and upright stance with rhythm in his hands. Uses a short stride and arm bar load before launching his hands on an uphill path with strength and bat speed, hitting up against a firm front side. In BP, shows consistent lift and pop to all fields, some barrels, 88 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.71 60. Defensively, shows some athletic actions around the bag with a very accurate arm, 76 mph.

A physically advanced 6-foot-3, 220-pound frame with strength. On the mound, the left-hander works from a controlled tempo with a short leg kick and a short front side before finishing directly to the dish. Arm action has moderate length in the back with looseness before coming through a high- slot. Fastball sits 79-80 mph with some arm-side run. Curveball has big 1/7 shape at 67-68 mph. Changeup is thrown with full arm speed with excellent fade at 71-72 mph. In the game, McMurray punched out three of the five batters he faced and only gave up one hit, filling up the strike zone with all three pitches.
