A durable and strong 5-foot-11, 195-pound frame. On the mound, the right-hander works from an abbreviated delivery with an up-tempo wind-up and a high and aggressive leg kick before driving to the dish with exceptional leg drive. Arm action is long, quick, and aggressive in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 85-88 mph, almost all strikes. Slider is well advanced with 10/4 shape, tight spin, and late depth at 75-76 mph with control around the zone. In the game, retired all four batters he faced, striking out three of them, all with the slider.
