Gage Arthur: OF/RHP, (2023) Tulsa Union, OK. 5-foot-10, 150-pound slim frame. At the plate, the switch hitter clocked an exit velocity of 85 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a quick load, then used a controlled stride before his swing. Bat speed is quick, has flat swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels in his rounds. Line drive approach. Above average in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 78 mph; had athletic footwork, a clean exchange and sure hands. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot with decent accuracy to the base. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.01.
A 5-foot-9, 140-pound slim frame; OF/RHP. At the plate, the switch hitter had a max exit velocity of 82 mph. Started in an open stance with a quick load, then used a leg kick before his swing. Exhibited a level swing plane and average bat speed. In BP, shows a pull and flat/ground approach, found some barrels. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 75 mph;showed raw hands and a developing exchange. Had a high ¾ slot and a short arm action. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.15.
A 5-foot-9, 140-pound frame with room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with some rhythm and a moderate leg kick before striding quickly down the mound and finishing towards the dish. Arm action has moderate length in the back circling with some stiffness before coming through an over the top slot. Fastball shows some downhill tilt at 72-73 mph, some strikes. Curveball shows near 12/6 shape with rolling action, some strikes. Changeup shows some fade at 59-60 mph.
A developing 5-foot-9, 140-pound lean, athletic frame. From the right side, starts slightly open in an athletic crouch. Initiates swing with leg kick, moderately turning his front leg inward to get some back-hip coil. Flat bat path that creates a line-drive swing with an 83 mph exit velocity. Worked mid/pull approach in BP with consistent barrels. Ran a 7.14 60-yard dash. Defensively, displayed adequate footwork and soft hands throwing from an over-the-top arm slot showing developing accuracy on throws at 74 mph.
