Developing 5-foot-9, 130-pound frame with room to add size and strength as he matures. In the box, the right-handed hitter sets up in a balanced stance utilizing a quick leg kick load to start his swing. Has a short, slightly uphill path through the zone, finding several barrels in his round of BPl. Made solid line-drive contact to his mid/pull side with a bat-exit velocity of 78 mph. Ran a 7.73 60-yard dash. In the field, shows confident actions with soft hands and a clean exchange with short footwork through his throws. Made 69 mph throws from a quick ¾ arm action with accuracy.
On the mound, the right-handed pitcher has a repeatable rocker-step delivery with a slower tempo. Throws from a high-¾ arm action with a clean release and upright finish while landing square to home. Shows some upper body quickness, not fully utilizing his lower half at times. Fastball sat 72-73 T74 mph with straight action, low in the zone. Slider shows occasional tight spin with a 10/4 shape, 57-59 mph. Changeup has good fade and sink action 66-67 mph.
Gage Elliott: SS/RHP, (2023) Charles Page, OK. 5-foot-9, 130-pound slim frame. At the plate, Elliott clocked an exit velocity of 72 mph. Starts in a wide stance with a small load, then uses a leg kick to initiate his swing. Bat speed was some, had upward swing plane and a back foot finish. He barreled up some balls during the round. Pull side approach. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 74 mph; had a clean exchange, developing footwork and firm hands. Showed a quick arm action and a ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.77. On the mound, used an over-the-top arm angle and a long arm action while showing some arm speed. Slow-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed even shoulders. Lands square with an upright finish. Curveball (58-60 mph). Sat with his fastball at 65-72 mph; keeps its plane in the zone. He shows gradual action on his changeup (65-68).
