On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with rhythm an a moderate leg kick before gliding to the dish and spinning off to the first base side. Arm action is moderate and fluid in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot with arm speed.and some effort. Fastball shows occasional arm side run at 85-87 mph, mostly strikes. Curveball has near 12/6 shape flashing tight spin and late depth at 74-75 mph, some strikes. Changeup shows some fade at 80-81mph, nearly all strikes. Slider shows 10/4 shape with tight spin, flashing plus at times at 75-81 mph, some strikes.

Uses a smooth and short load and short stride before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path with good extension and bat speed and barrel strength. In BP, shows an all fields approach with consistent lift, mostly barrels, 89 exit velo. Runs a 7.38 60. Defensively, shows clean and deliberate actions with above average hands. Throws with a moderate arm stroke coming through a high ¾ slot. Shows some accuracy with advanced arm strength at 89 mph across the diamond.

A lean 5-foot-10, 165-pound frame with room to add strength. On the mound, works from an up-tempo delivery. Uses an athletic wind-up that he repeats well, stepping straight back with this rocker step and brings it through building momentum to the dish. Arm action is full in the back with a quick change of direction before coming through a high-¾ slot. Four-seam fastball sits 82-83 mph with some downhill tilt. Two-seam fastball also sits 82-83 with arm-side run. Curveball shows 11/5 shape with depth and flashed late action, 67-69 mph. Slider shows consistent 10/4 shape with good depth and tight spin. Changeup has late fade and occasional sink, 75-76 mph. Shows an advanced feel for the zone with all five pitches. Overall, Lunceford’s quick arm and feel for pitching will continue to draw attention from colleges as he grows.
