Payton Tolle: LHP/1B, (2021) Bethany, OK. 6-foot-6, 230-pound mature frame. During batting practice, Tolle had an exit velocity of 97 mph, showing his ability to drive the ball with power. Started in an open stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled stride to initiate his swing. Has above average bat speed, simple swing plane and high finish. Found some barrels with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Average in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 81 mph; had developing footwork, a lengthy exchange and firm hands. Has an-over-the-top slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.23. On the mound, showing good arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle with a consistent arm action. Shows some effort in his delivery. Balance is tall point with in line shoulders in his delivery. Lands square with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 85-86 mph and topped out at 87 mph; has running action and consistent control. He shows slight action on his curveball (72-72). straight changeup (78-78).
A physically impressive 6-foot-9, 230-pound frame packed with strength and athleticism. On the mound, the left-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a high and athletic leg kick before gliding down the mound and finishing to the third base side. Arm action is long in the back with a stab at the bottom of the arm stroke before coming through a high-¾ slot with arm speed. Fastball keeps its plane at 80-83 mph, nearly all strikes. Curveball shows rolling shape with 1/7 shape at 72-75 mph. Changeup has some fade at 75-78 mph. In the game, punched out two and get weak contact from the other three hitters, not allowing a hit.
Demonstrated advanced feel for a large 6-foot-6, 231-pound frame with noticeable strength and present flexibility. The left-handed hitter begins with an even, balanced stance utilizing a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Solid stretch and a strong lower half created advanced hip-shoulder separation allowing for barrel whip through the zone. A slightly uphill bat-path upon impact yielded easy backspin to both gaps on 87 mph bat-exit velocities. Generated consistent, loud barrels with an easy feel for his hands. Ran a 7.27 60-yard dash. The first baseman displayed long actions around the bag with adequate footwork and advanced range. Utilized a smooth, soft glove hand to give and take when necessary. An easy transfer coupled with a ¾ arm-slot yielded an accurate 78 mph arm-strength across the diamond.

A physically advanced 6-foot-6, 225-pound projectable frame. On the mound, the left-hander works only from a deliberate wind up with a high leg kick and finishes to the dish. Arm action is long and fluid in the back, coming through a ¾ slot. Will repeat his delivery better as he learns to control his long limbs. Fastball ranges 79-83 mph with some downhill tilt and occasional arm-side run. Curveball has rolling action at 59-60 mph. In the game, got weak contact and had the occasional big miss. An arm to watch has he develops body control.
A physically impressive 6-foot-6, 225-pound frame with strength and room to add more. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from an even, quiet and slightly back leg heavy set-up. Uses a short and soft stride with a small hand pump load before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path with leverage and strength. In BP, shows a middle to pull approach, mostly flat with occasional lift and much more pop than his 83 mph exit velo would suggest. Runs a 7.37 second 60. Defensively, shows clean and athletic actions around the bag. Throws from a short arm stroke through a low-¾ slot with accuracy at 73 mph across the diamond. In the game, went 1-for-3 with a line drive to center field and hit a towering home run to left field.
