Hit: RHH. Slightly open stance with a wide base. Smooth knee knock stride with strong weight stack into the lower half. Drives the lower half well through the zone into a firm front leg. Shows strong bat speed and quick hands through the zone. Slight uphill bat path and tries to work the ball up in the air. Utilizes the whole field well and swings on balance.
Defense: In the outfield attacks the ball with shorter strides and controlled rhythm. Fields the ball out in front of the glove side leg with a feel for glove action and clean exchanges. Utilizes a quick shuffle crow hop with the arm registering 81 mph from the OF.
Run: 7.74 runner in the 60.
Stratton White: 1B/RHP, (2024) Edmond Memorial, OK. 5-foot-11, 135-pound slim frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 76 mph. Starts in an open tall stance with a controlled small load, then uses a short stride before his swing. Had some bat speed, upward swing plane and a back foot finish. He found some barrels during his rounds. Pull side approach. Developing in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 61 mph; had a developing exchange, developing footwork and firm hands. Showed a long arm action and a ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 8.03 at the event. Solid on the mound, where he showed some arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle with a long arm action. Slow-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Lands square with an upright finish. Threw his fastball 70-74 mph; showed decent control. Has arm side control and fading action on his changeup (62-64).
