RHP Silas Roberts (Grove, 2025) used a three pitch mix to consistently land in the zone at our Preseason ID in Tulsa. He worked his fastball up to 2150 RPMs and a max IVB of 18.1” with ability to work it around the plate. Further, the IVB from a 5’8” frame gave Roberts ride from a lower release that is difficult for hitters to get on top of consistently. He also mixed a curveball and change up into his bullpen, highlighted by the curveball working 71-73 mph and 2100 RPMs. Roberts showed a mix that can consistently disrupt hitters balance and timing.
