An imposing 6-foot-5, 185-pound corner infielder, Whitehorne is an interesting watch out of the Burlington Bulls organization. He features a lean projectable frame with long legs and a slightly lesser sized torso. At the plate, he uses the whole field with a line-drive stroke showing the ability to stay through the baseball. He has the opportunity to take advantage of his size, and he does when he gets a pitch around the belt showing the ability to get underneath it and drive the ball. The key for Whitehorne will be staying consistent with his path and sticking to this more effective approach considering his frame and toolset. In the infield, the glove actions work to both sides, he shows proper positioning when fielding and his transfers are often clean. Getting his legs underneath him on throws will be an essential factor in whether he will stick on the left side. Whitehorne has a build that you can’t count out on, and to go with his present tools, there’s a far better product in the tank.
