The Junior Future Gamer did not disappoint at our event. Bartha stands in at 6-foot, 175-pounds with ample time to add strength. Showed off the hit tool by producing a 94.8 mph exit velocity and a peak distance of 309 feet. Advanced approach in the box for his class that will only continue to trend up in the coming years. Looked the part with the glove and had also posted one of the better infield velocities for his class (84 mph). Concluded the day with a solid bullpen registering the fastball in at 81.8-84.3 mph with feel for the whole arsenal. Bartha will be a name to know down the road and is one of the top prospects in the ‘28 class.

One of the premier players in our 2028 class thus far, the ‘24 Junior Future Gamer shows improved physicality and is shaping up to be an exciting middle-infield prospect moving into the future. With a peak exit velocity of 87.9mph, Bartha keeps the hands short and direct, a big reason why the bat has made an impact to this point. Quality mover on both sides of the ball with frame yet to fill at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds and should make noise on the prep circuit during his freshman season. While the Holiday Hitters series featured hitting only, it’s worth noting that Bartha carries one of the most advanced defensive profiles in his class to this point. Should be a fun follow with the Pirates throughout his prep career.

Bartha was the most intriguing infielder to participate on our Jr. Future Games team and his game projects well, especially up the middle where he has the range, actions and glovework to continue excelling at the shortstop position. Also makes an impact with the right-handed bat where he has bat-to-ball skills and does a good job staying inside the ball. Overall, there’s plenty to like here and Bartha should be a name you hear in this class a ton as his high school career progresses.
