Stevens was another intriguing 2027 prospect in the Yankees program and impressed on the mound to start the weekend. Right-hander with long, lanky frame and a loose, clean ¾ arm-action. Stevens filled up the zone, flashing four pitches and a fastball that sat 80-72mph. There’s feel and shape to the sweeping slider at 79-80mph, along with a changeup at 77mph and cutter at 77-78mph. Stevens also showed well on the positional workout day with a peak exit velocity of 86.7mph, distance of 318ft and Sweet Spot % of 80. He also ran a 7.15 60-yard dash and was up to 83mph in the outfield. Stevens will be another intriguing 2027 arm to follow on the Yankees 16U team this next year.
