2025 Ontario Nationals Scout Day
Our staff had eyes last on Dario back in February at the Toronto New Year Invite. It is a name to know in the ‘27 class that can get it done on both sides of the ball. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound outfielder started the day off with the stick. It is a fluid stroke from the right-side with feel for the operation. Concluded his rounds with a peak exit velocity of 89.1 mph, and a peak distance of 269 feet. In addition, Parasram showed off some quality arm strength during defensive workouts dialing in at 88 mph from the outfield. There is still ample time to add strength/make adjustments, and as a result, we should the metrics continue to climb in the years ahead. The future is definitely bright for the talented outfielder out of the Nationals’ organization.
2025 Toronto New Year Invite
2027 OF/1B Dario Parasram of the Ontario Nationals program took some big steps in his development over the past year and recently jumped up to No. 65 in our Class of 2027 Rankings. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitter had a good approach throughout both rounds, working the middle of the cage with plenty of line-drives, peaking at 91.4mph with a Sweet Spot % of 67. Beyond the bat, Parasram showed well the rest of the day with an outfield velocity of 86mph and 30-yard dash of 4.07s. Parasram really put himself on the map at this event and will be a name to follow in the Ontario Nationals 2027 class.
