This was our second look at Kane Grigg over the past several months and the 5-foot-10, 230-pound first baseman out of the Oshawa program continues to flash some power and strength in his left-handed bat. It was the best performance we’ve seen to-date from Grigg as he worked to the middle of the cage throughout his round with line-drives and flyballs, generating a peak exit velocity of 95.3mph (85.1 avg) and peak distance of 316ft. On the infield, Grigg was up to 65mph from the first base position. The bat is the carrying tool right now and he’ll be a positional player to follow on the Legionnaires 18U team this summer.
