2028 RHP/OF Max Van Dyke really put himself on the map at the Future Games Trials and it’s a high-ceiling arm as he continues to develop and grow. The 14-year-old already stands at 6-foot-1, 170-pounds and it’s a clean, easy operation from the right-handed with a fastball that sat 80-82 T83 and there was overall feel for the zone with all his stuff. Also worked with a curveball in the 69-71mph range. Tons to like here from Van Dyke and there’s potential on the positional side, as well, where he posted a peak exit velocity of 87.7mph, 85mph velocity from the outfield and ran a 4.21 30-yard dash. Highly intriguing prospect in Ontario’s 2028 class and player to watch in the class this coming summer.
