Pitching: RHP. Showed outstanding mound presence with ability to create swing/miss from a coiled delivery that really works down the slope (6 FT extension). Sat 85-88, T89MPH, up to 21 inch IVB with + carry to the top. Pitched off of it using a 69-72MPH CB with hard sweep and located an 80-81MPH CH with fade. The bulldog impressed by handling some adversity.
Physical: High-waisted, lean 6-foot-3, 170lb build. 7.37 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Back-leaning, slightly bent stance, as the hands waved with rhythm. Utilized a directional lift-and-replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat, whippy path into the hitting zone. Recorded a T79 mph exit velocity via Trackman, working over the middle of the field.
Defensively: The outfielder attacked from behind the ball, fielding off his left with an early presented glove-hand. Very fluid in space and reached back for an 84 mph arm-strength (H ¾ slot) that transferred over to a comfortable mound performance.
Physical: Wiry athletic 6-foot-3, 180lb frame with room to fill. 7.62 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Narrow, backloaded stance, as the hands showed quick-waving rhythm to begin. Utilized a stretched lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat, lengthy path into the hitting zone. Worked towards the middle of the field with some barrel-whip present, allowing for a T79 mph exit velocity during BP (100% sweet spot).
Defensively: The outfielder displayed downhill chest angles and an up-tempo attack, fielding off his left with ability to drive the throw to the target. Reached back for 81 mph positionally, which translates to the mound.
Pitching: RHP. Starts tall from the middle of the rubber; quicker pace that uses balance and late intent to create life on a 73-76, T79 mph FB with both carry/run traits. Extended well on top of hitters, making a low-60’s CB tough to square up.
