Physical: Highly athletic 5-foot-8, 150lb frame. 6.87 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, upright stance at shoulder-width. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate a two-handed swing through a slightly uphill path into the finish. Middle of the field approach with contact at the forefront of the attack. Demonstrated a T88 mph bat-exit velocity and 78% sweet spot rate with barrel control present. Produced an extra-base hit during gameplay.
Defensively: The shortstop featured choppy footwork that played downhill on the ball. Hands stayed down at the window with soft actions, and got rid up to 82 mph across the diamond. Arm talent translates to the bump.
Pitching: RHP - Repeatable delivery that uses balance at the stack; landed an 81-83 mph FB to both sides of the plate with high spin rates. Small action on a hard-thrown 72-74 mph CB with deception out of the hand. Hard-fading mid-70’s CH with advanced feel of the zone with all three pitches. Threw anything in any count, see if you can hit it.
