Parker Free (‘27, Oak Ridge) The Freshmen showed a developed field general ability behind the plate for Oak Ridge. Free is an extremely hard worker behind the plate and made some crucial blocks in big moments. He would show off his arm throwing out a would-be baserunner, has a very quick transfer and gains ground directly toward second. Showed off some great still developing metrics at the TN Preseason Allstate in february, 2.03 poptime, 75 mph C velo, 92 exit velo. Had quality at bats at the plate, collecting an RBI although he would go hitless on the day. Free will be a catcher to watch in his High School years and should be a leader and middle of the order bat for the years to come.
