OF, showed a short, quick swing across two games. He was 1-for-3 in the Rangers’ first game, staying on a curveball away and squaring it up for a single to the right of shortstop. He then tapped a ball back to the pitcher for an out, but was 4.2 down the line from the left side. He was 1-for-2 in the second game, squaring another ball back up the middle for a single.
06.26.17 - 6-foot, 155-pound, wiry, athletic frame. The left handed hitter took an excellent batting practice, driving multiple line drives with backspin up the middle and to the left-center gap. He showcases quick hands and barrel awareness. He has a wide setup at the plate, but was able to put good swings together in the game, going 1-for-3 with a base hit the other way.
