Positional Profile: 3B/1B
Body: 6-3, 239-pounds. Sloping shoulders, width to back. Solid middle/lower, will add strength in future.
Hit: RHH. Rotational back foot with linear movement forward. Short stride, recommend with linear move of back foot, (which is solid/good) try to lenghten stride slightly, this will allow hips to drive forward more. Hits into firm front leg, stride foot into ground, solid posture at contact. Developing hit approach with solid base to work with, With stride, elbow raises causing barrel tip over head creating length to swing. With tip length and scoop swing created. Work to soften elbow movement allowing barrel to launch from area behind head, this will allow direct path to zone with barrel.
Power: 102 max exit velocity, averaged 94.2 mph. 323' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-81 mph. Arm works fine, raw arm strength will increase. Recommend long toss program to help develop arm speed.
Defense: Moves fine to baseball, feet will quicken. When deep, dead feet fielding baseball, play thru baseball with feet when fielding. Fields ball deep, work to field baseball out front. Comes off bag fine, shows developing ability to get set feet to field making turn to throw.
ATH: 7.73 runner in the 60. 1.79 and 4.26 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Hard runner, little uprigth with chin up. Develop slight bend at waist to get shoulders forward, get chin down. Speed will firm some. 18.40 max vertical.
