RSi
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
Hunter Martin, Brock (TX), 2026 Positional Profile: 2B/3B RHH/INF with good build to add strength. Avg runner now, expect speed to increase with added strength in future. Defensively shows developing actions, expect to be solid infielder in future. Project solid bat/power combo in future with adjustments. Athletic player with tools to develop. Body: 5-10, 156-pounds. Lean, wiry build/frame. Has width to shoulders. Expect to add strength to frame with growth/maturity in the future. Good physical projections. Hit: RHH. Toe tap stride, lands in solid position to hit. Rotational back foot, gets stuck in rotation, work to get back foot fully turned. Shoelaces to mound and on time. Swing starts with lower 1/2, presently swing is starting with upper 1/2, lower is late. Barrel starts low with wrap creating length, cast barrel around body presently. Hands away from body, low, with slight bar. Work to get hands closer to shoulder, ideal barrel launch is, barrel behind head, at angle with knob point towards catcher…in that area. This allows for more direct path to zone with hands/barrel. 67.1 mph bat speed with 20 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 98 max exit velocity, averaged 89.5 mph. 341' max distance. Solid bat/power combo in future with adjustments to hit approach and swing. Upside present. Changes will result in increased contact consistency and impact. Arm: RH. INF-85 mph. Arm works fine, avg HS present raw arm strength, fair arm speed. Recommend long toss program to continue to develop arm speed and raw strength. Defense: Feet work getting to baseball, avg quickness. Nice job playing thru baseball. Fields baseball deep, work to field ball out front. When throwing, keep feet moving, stay low and athletic. ATH: 6.99 runner in the 60. 1.68 and 3.88 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Runs well. Form corrects itself after first third. Has nice actions in the arms and legs. Keeps a nice forward tilt with a quiet head. Above avg speed. 25.40 max vertical.

Hunter Martin, BROCK H S (TX), 2026 Positional Profile: 2B/3B Upside with strength. Interesting ability that will be helped with adjustments and strength. Body: 5-11, 144-pounds. Good frame and build to add weight and strength. Hit: RHH. Upright stance, feet shoulder width apart. Knee lift stride, loads into backside. Lots of movement to lower in swing. Backside inconsistent, sometimes rotational, others shows linear movement. I liked the linear movement getting the backside driving forward. Scoop swing with length. Does a nice job of recognizing balls away. Presently lacks bat speed, will increase with strength. 62 mph bat speed with 17 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 75.4 mph. 263' max distance. Strength will help along with firming lower 1/2, ability to impact baseball will be improve. Shortening swing will improve contact consistency. Arm: RH. INF-77 mph. Works fine, front shoulder opens early…loses front side. Lacks carry consistency at this time. Defense: Nice 1st step, doesn't play thru baseball, fields ball deep, shows fair body control at this time. Will improve with fundamental development. ATH: 7.28 runner in the 60. 1.76 and 4.03 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Runs well, will increase speed as he gains strength. 27.60 max vertical.
