5-foot-10, 180 pounds with a strong upper half and compact levers. Shows a simple, upright stance in the box with square alignment towards pitcher in upper and lower half. Hands start above rear shoulder with a flat barrel angle. Takes a short forward stride as hands shift down and back into hitting position. Lands in a wide, balanced base with weight centered. Creates easy bat speed with quick barrel action. Swing shows some depth in the zone with solid plate coverage. Strong at the point of contact, producing mostly line-drives throughout BP. Gets to ball out front with an uphill finish. Defensively, begins in a wide base with some bend in lower half. Keeps a low center of gravity while moving laterally. Short, choppy footwork when ranging to the ball. Lets ball travel deep into stance while funneling in. Exchanges into compact arm action with mostly high ¾ release. Lowered slot when making plays to glove side and on double play feed. Ball flight showed consistent accuracy out of hand.
