Offensively, left-handed, wide, open setup, smooth load, short stride, maintains good balance through contact. Line drive hitter with gap-to-gap potential, short level barrel path, hands accelerate through contact, present bat speed, fluid rhythm, 83 mph exit velocity off a tee. Defensively, short arm action, over-the-top slot, kept throws around the bag, 78 mph from the crouch. Pop times 2.11-2.26. Athletic and clean blocker. Ran a 7.58 laser-timed 60.

5/13/17 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound left-handed hitting C/OF with an athletic frame. At the plate hits from balanced setup with a short heel lift stride and good balance. Pull hitter with a long swing path and a fast bat. Showed strength thru contact with 86 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.33. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Active blocker with quick footwork behind the plate. Gets out of the chute quickly. Popped 2.11-2.17 and threw 78 mph from the crouch. Took drills in the outfield, plays thru the ball with quick footwork. Throws showed carry at 84 mph.

3/12/17 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound left-handed hitting catcher, solid athletic build. Defensively showed actions in the outfield and behind the plate. Plays through the baseball aggressively in the outfield, crowhops through the ball, feet work well. 7.30 runner in the 60. Arm action is loose and over the top, 86 mph from the outfield, 74 mph out of the crouch. Pop times posted at 2.00-2.06, receives well in pens, soft and quiet. Left-handed hitter, slight open stance, short quiet stride, solid balance. Path is short and uphill, contact lifted gap to gap, showed bat speed. 86 mph exit velocity from the tee.

2/28/16 - 5-foot-9, 155-pound left-handed hitting catcher. Balanced stance, stride dives to hit, average balance. Path works slightly uphill, flashed pull side pop, average bat speed. Dive/pull type approach, 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm played short and over the top, 70 mph out of the crouch. Pop times ranged 2.19-2.30, can stay lower out of the chute. Quiet setup, average receiver. 7.72 runner in the 60.
