Future Games 2016 - 6-foot-1, 205-pound catcher/third baseman, large strong build. Offensively hits from an open stance, short stride. Strong fast bat, shows pull side power, makes hard contact in BP and game play, good barrel control with bat strength. Hit a double with three RBI in game play. 89 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively got out of the crouch well, ability to block and recover well. Pop times ranged 1.97-2.05. Threw out a runner in game at 2.08, showed accurate arm with carry, 79 mph. Moves well for his size, ability to defend third base at a high level, good body control with above average range to glove side. 7.42 runner in the 60, 4.44 down the line.

6/18/16 - a solid defensive catcher with a short, compact swing. He had two hits, including the game winner.

3/13/16 - 6-foot-1, 190-pound catcher, solid strong build, durable frame, built well to handle catching duties. Defensively arm played above average, 75 mph out of the crouch, 80 mph across the diamond, accurate arm with carry, plays up. Showed athletic infield actions, pop times ranged 2.03-2.08 out of the crouch, projects well defensively at both positions, good footwork. 7.63 runner in the 60. Right-handed hitter, balanced setup, short stride, good solid balance. Strong bat, shows above average strength in the box, fast bat, 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. Shorter path to the baseball, level through contact, line drive type hitter, athletic hitter, on time. On the mound delivery is simple and repeatable, full arm action, over the top slot. Fastball sat 78-80 mph, touched 82 mph. Curveball played on 11/5 plane, 60-65 mph. Changeup is 73-75 mph, sinking action.

3/15/15- 6-foot, 180-pound right-handed hitting C/RHP/INF impressed with all-around play. Behind the plate registered pop times from 2.28-2.34 to second, 66 mph out of the crouch from short, over-the-top arm slot, average hands receiving. Graded out even better in infield, future 3B, impressed with carry on throws, and infield actions. At the plate, hits from a wide, balanced setup, short stride, short, path, gap-to-gap approach, above average bat speed for age, 82 mph exit velocity off the tee. Ran a 7.8 60. On the mound, fastball sat 77-79 mph from short, over-the-top arm slot, tall/fall delivery, toe down at balance point, loads lower half over the rubber, level shoulders throughout delivery, lands in line with home plate. 12/6 curveball thrown from 59-62 mph, occasional late break. Also threw a sinking 71-74 mph changeup, impressed with feel for three pitches for strikes.

4/5/14 - 5-foot-8, 155-pound multi-positional player, long legs, projectable frame. Offensively hits from a wider balanced stance, smooth loading action, short stride. Well above average bat speed, gap to gap approach, loose hands made hard contact, front foot hitter. Defensively on the infield showed softer hands, plays through the baseball, athletic arm action, showed body control. Arm played at 65 mph across the diamond and out of the crouch. Pop times registered at 2.41-2.43. Made efficient transfers and showed excellent accuracy to the bag. On the mound worked from a high ¾ slot, longer arm action. Fastball has sink with occasional run, showed control, 70-71 mph. Curveball has 12/6 shape, with above average depth, near fastball arm speed, showed control, 57-60 mph. Changeup has above average action 64-63 mph.
