INF Elijah Yeager (Hortonville, 2027) is a projectable bodied junior who continues to impress our staff with the swing and the ability to impact line drives. His 91.6 max exit velocity was 5th best among the day’s participants. He also hit a ball 324 feet which is the 4th furthest ball hit on the day using his smooth right-handed swing. Currently Yeager is ranked 82nd in the class but continues to be an intriguing prospect with his feel for the barrel and his overall feel for the game, our staff can envision a jump coming this winter and spring.

+ MIF/RHP Elijah Yeager (Hortonville, 2027) continues to be a guy we like with upside. Yeager measured in at a long, wiry and well-proportioned 6-foot, 166 pounds and likely to continue to add size and strength to his frame in the near future. Yeager showed quick hands with a direct path throughout his round of batting practice and registered a max exit velocity of 90 mph from his right-handed swing. On defense, Yeager once again showcased smooth and fluid actions working through the baseball. On the mound, the fastball was up to 82 mph and showed some quality carry through the top of the zone. The curveball has the makings of a 12/6 top to bottom out pitch weapon and was up thrown in the upper 60’s to pair with the low 80’s heater. Last, he showcased feel for a change up that dies at the plate to keep both-handed hitters off balance. Overall, it continues to be a very intriguing look as a two-way talent and only time will tell if Yeager’s future in on the mound or as a position player.

INF Elijah Yeager (Hortonville, 2027) showed strong feel to hit and sneaky power from his 6-foot, 145-pound frame. The right-handed hitter uses a balanced base with low hands and a simple load into a balanced finish. He has a direct bath path to hit the ball to all fields with ease. Defensively, the Hortonville native showed rhythm in his feet and soft hands, moving athletically toward 1B. He threw 76 mph with carry across the diamond, mostly throwing from a high-¾ arm slot but showing the ability to throw from various slots. Even with the varying angles, Yeager showed accuracy.
