Zabielski is a two-way prospect who performed well at the showcase on Saturday. First, at the plate, Zabielski used his mechanically sound swing to spray line drives all over the field with a max EV in the high-80s. He continued his strong showing in the infield with his soft hands and quick feet to field through the ball and make accurate throws through first base. On the mound, Zabileski showcased an athletic repeatable delivery and a fastball up to 85.7 mph through areas of the zone for strikes. He also used his bigger lateral breaking curveball both in the zone for strikes and expanding below to get chase’s and swing and miss. His slider was a shorter, quicker lateral breaking ball and he flashed a potential weapon in his change-up with late depth and fade.
