Another Superior area talent showed well at our Western Wisconsin Open: Kell Piggot, who’s listed at a robust 6-foot-3, 205 pounds. Piggott swings a physical and fast right-handed bat that generated exit speeds that ranged into the mid-90s, topping out at 96 mph. He also ran a 7.29 here, which is above-average, and especially for someone built at his stature.
Position: RHP/3B
Body: 6-foot-3, 200-pound physical frame
Hit: Began in a balanced stance with a quick load, then used a small leg kick. Average bat speed. Level finish, flat swing.
