Power hitter works gap to gap with a fast bat. Ball jumps off bat in games. 92 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.37. Defensively Has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Throws showed carry at 82 mph from the crouch. Gets out of the crouch quick with quick footwork and a clean exchange. Popped 1.93-2.01.

7/10/17 - 5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitting catcher with a strong, compact frame. At the plate hits from a crouched, open setup with a leg kick stride average balance. Line drive hitter with an uphill swing path and a fast bat. 85 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.24. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Quick footwork and a clean exchange. Popped 2.11-2.25 and threw 70 mph from the crouch. Showed flexibility in the lower half receiving, low target for pitchers. Works hard behind the plate, active blocker. 

3/12/17 - 5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitting catcher. Hits from a crouched setup, open stance, loads hands back, short stride to even, solid balance through contact. Bat strength, flashed hard lifted contact. Showed bat speed, rhythmic hitter. 85 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.42 runner in the 60. Defensively arm played at 65 mph long high ¾ slot. Long strided out of the chute with misdirection, 2.16-2.25 pop times.

2/21/16 - 5-foot-5, 155-pound left-handed hitting catcher. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a deep load to the backside with fair balance. Line drive gap to gap hitter with a long, level swing path. 78 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.53. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top arm slot with a long exchange. Tall receiver didn’t get square in drills. Showed flexibility in the lower half receiving in bullpens. Popped 2.33-2.44 and threw 69 mph from the crouch.
