The backstop ran a 7.01 60 yard-dash showing solid athleticism and burst off the line with quick turnover once underway. At the plate, Lemm hits with a well sequenced swing from the ground up and has a flat bat path that gets into the zone quickly and gets through the ball with good extension and length. The junior shows impressive feel for the barrel with quality bat speed. Behind the plate, Lemm is a more than capable defender as he was able to register the second quickest pop time of the event at 1.98 seconds and plenty of arm strength to turn the ball around consistently. The UW-Milwaukee commit had a very nice day overall and is poised for a big spring.
After a standout performance at the Grand Park Fall Championships, C/OF Ryan Lemm (Janesville Craig, 2025) continued his stretch of dominance while at The Rock. Lemm is a sturdy 5-foot-9, 185-pound backstop with innate bat-to-ball skills that have been on full display throughout the summer and into the fall. From the left-handed box, Lemm stays short and direct to the ball with the ability to drive it hard all over the field. His biggest hit of the weekend came on Saturday which was a deep fly ball to right field which he legged out for a triple, while also bringing home a run. It has been a big fall for Lemm and he now enters his junior year as one of the state’s top catching prospects.
Lemm was an impact bat at the top of this Hitters 2025 lineup all weekend long. Built at a strong 5-foot-8, 180-pounds, the left-handed hitting backstop found numerous barrels throughout the weekend, highlighted by a 2-for-3 performance in their final game on Sunday which included a deep triple to the opposite field. Behind the plate, Lemm was also an advanced receiver while also showcasing a quick and accurate arm behind the plate. Currently inside of the top-25 in the state, Lemm continued to prove to be name-to-know inside of Wisconsin’s 2025 class.
Lemm showcased his skills both behind the plate and with the bat during our time in Caledonia on Sunday. Lemm, a strong athletic backstop ran a 7.10 60-yard dash which was good enough for the seventh-best of the event. Offensively, he has a short quick swing and stayed on the barrel throughout his entire round and had an exit velocity of 88 mph. Behind the plate, he showcased a quick and accurate throwing arm and threw a 2.03 pop-time which was the second-quickest of the event. Overall, Lemm is polished catcher with multiple tools and an interesting prospect to take note of.
